International Olympiad in Informatics
The International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) is an annual computing-science competition, sponsored by UNESCO, for talented senior high-school students coming from all over the world. Created to stimulate student’s interest in Computer Science and Information technology, this big event will be held for the first time in Italy at Simione, Garda Lake under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, University and Research and AICA. ITG has the honor of organizing the 2012 edition of IOI. This event consists of a two-days computer-programming tournament that engages participants to algorithmic programming problem solving.
